BOOK A CALL

More and more schools are experiencing an increased demand on multilingual family communication systems.

More often than not, multilingual communication falls on the shoulders of passionate individuals, rather than being supported by a comprehensive system.

As a result, students miss out on critical services and the knowledge that their family is included in their school community, impacting their long-term well-being and academic achievement. Individual staff members are subjected to disproportionate burnout as a result of their language skills or relationships with families. Finally, districts are also left legally vulnerable due to gaps in multilingual communication systems and culture.

Despite the best of intentions and efforts, families are often excluded from important information and school relationships, depriving them of the opportunity to be fully-informed, fully-resourced caregivers.

We help schools navigate a results-driven process to ensure that they:

What have others said?

This is the best year for communication yet, with all the resources [Anne has] provided.
- Jacqueline F, Front Office Coordinator

Anne’s work has significantly streamlined our processes, allowing us to focus more on meaningful interactions and less on logistical challenges. With her support, we can redirect our time and energy towards fostering a truly inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Lauren P, Director of Communications & Marketing

Through Anne’s guidance and collaboration, we were able to create major systemic change. We created an atmosphere where multilingual families are empowered partners with their children’s school and where it is everyone’s charge to ensure every family receives consistent communication in their native language.

Anne is an amazing facilitator of staff development! Our staff were intimidated and fearful of making the wrong mistake when communicating with families. Anne developed and implemented a multistage professional development track for staff that allowed them to practice all components of utilizing translation services with families. Staff felt empowered to call families regularly and schedule meetings using interpretation, thus removing perceived barriers to consistent family communications.
- Briana G, Assistant Principal

Everyone I spoke to enjoyed [Anne's] classes immensely.
- Cathy K., Executive Assistant of Curriculum & Instruction

Anne’s dedication to equity and inclusion for ELL families is unparalleled. She helped us foster a culture of proactive outreach and engagement with ELL families among teachers.
- Becca R, EL Teacher

I haven't met anyone more committed to equity for families than her. She works tirelessly to ensure that multilingual families receive communication in their language, that they are able to fully participate and enrich their school communities, and collaborate with other staff in a positive and respectful way. She partners with families and staff members to hear their ideas and concerns and directly implements them into her programming and regional policies. She is a joy to work with, makes everyone feel heard and cared for, and brings together people of all different perspectives to make our region better.
