Staff felt empowered to call families regularly and schedule meetings using interpretation, thus removing perceived barriers to consistent family communications. - Briana G, Assistant Principal

She works tirelessly to ensure that multilingual families receive communication in their language, that they are able to fully participate and enrich their school communities, and collaborate with other staff in a positive and respectful way. She partners with families and staff members to hear their ideas and concerns and directly implements them into her programming and regional policies. She is a joy to work with, makes everyone feel heard and cared for, and brings together people of all different perspectives to make our region better. - Above & Beyond Award, 2022
