About Anne
Anne Truran is the founder of Together, Language and has spent 17 years working in and alongside schools as a teacher, instructional leader, and consultant.
She founded her district's English Learner program, has worked with multilingual communities from the Texas-Mexico border to the Midwest, and developed the Belonging-First Framework after years of learning — the hard way — that strategies alone don't stick when it comes to this work. MALI is the program she wishes had existed when she was doing this work alone.
