🎯 Personalized Spanish Micro-Lesson Videos Just For You

This is the feature participants in Spanish for Relationship-Building consistently say is most valuable — and now it's available on an ongoing basis.
Bring a question, a situation, a phrase you can't quite nail, or a recording of yourself speaking. Anne and her team of bilingual educators will respond with a personalized video micro-lesson: what's working, what to adjust, and why. This is not generic feedback. It is specific to you, your level, and the exact Spanish you need for your exact role.
When a question is relevant to others, the response gets added to the Spanish video library — so your learning extends the community.

📚 Spanish Video Library

A growing collection of video micro-lessons on school-specific vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and cultural context — organized so you can find what you need, when you need it.
The library is built two ways. Some content is evergreen — phrases like estoy orgullosa de ti (I'm proud of you) or buen trabajo (Good job) that belong in every school day, every month of the year. That content lives in the library permanently, and as your questions grow, so do the videos.

Throughout the year, members also receive Seasonal Spanish Spotlights — short, timely video drops released ahead of key school moments. These include just-in-time phrases like what to say during back-to-school week, Hispanic Heritage Month, parent-teacher conferences, the holidays, end-of-year transitions, birthdays. The right Spanish for the right moment in the school year. They're featured prominently when they arrive, then added into the library for you to find later.

🎬 Monthly Spanish Watch & Listen Club

Each month, members receive a fun watching or listening assignment: a movie, a clip, or a podcast episode in Spanish. Throughout the month, there's an async discussion space where you can share observations, ask questions, and check your understanding on your own schedule. Then we gather live to discuss, rewatch moments together, and go deeper.
It is one of the most enjoyable ways to build listening comprehension, and one of the most underused tools in language learning.

💬 Biweekly Spanish Conversation Session

No preparation required. Just show up and speak in community with others.

These sessions are open to all levels, and they work two ways: come to practice freely in a low-stakes environment, or bring something specific — a conversation you're anticipating, one you just had that you want to get better at, a particular situation you want to rehearse. We practice together. Others join in. And if no one brings anything specific, we simply talk.

Every time, you leave having used your Spanish with real humans.

🌎 Quarterly: Cultural Wisdom Workshops

These are unlike anything else in this community, and unlike anything else in most professional development.

Each quarter, an outside cultural practitioner leads a hands-on workshop that is as much about culture as it is about craft.

Our first workshop features a Mexican master embroiderer who will guide members through the tradition of Mexican embroidery — its indigenous roots, its symbolism, how the knowledge passes from one generation to the next, and what the clothing traditions reveal about the culture. Members can order a materials kit in advance so they're ready to create alongside her using her hand-drawn designs just for us.

The goal of these sessions is not merely to learn about a culture. It is to learn from one.

🌱 Quarterly: Supporting Bilingualism from the Classroom

Research is clear that bilingualism is an asset — cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Yet most educators working in monolingual English environments don't know how to actively support it, and the structures around them don't make it easy.

Each quarter, this session offers concrete, research-based strategies for honoring and strengthening the heritage languages of your students, even if your school operates entirely in English. Because a student's home language belongs in your building too.

About Anne

Anne Truran founded Together, Language in 2018 after nine years of working in schools as a teacher and instructional leader. She began her career teaching all content areas of first grade in Spanish to native Spanish speakers on the southern border, later taught Spanish immersion and bilingual intervention, and has spent years supporting multilingual family engagement across the Midwest and beyond.

The Spanish for Belonging-Building community exists because of something Anne kept hearing at the end of every course.
Can I stay? Is there a way to keep going?

Participants didn't want the learning to stop. They wanted a place where they could keep practicing, keep asking questions, and keep growing in a community that understood the specific work they were doing.

Meanwhile, Anne knew from teaching each learner in Spanish for Relationship-Building courses, that each person needs something different. A complete beginner needs different support than someone who took three years of high school Spanish and is trying to dust it off. An advanced speaker who wants to refine their fluency with the subjunctive tense needs something different still. A six-week course, no matter how well-designed, can only go so far in meeting each person exactly where they are.

This community was built to go the rest of the way.
